We are currently seeking LISCENSED PRACTICAL NURSES for all of our locations. Devonshire Village located in the south of Edmonton.
Citadel Village located in St. Albert.
Garneau Hall located on Whyte Avenue.
Glastonbury located in the West of Edmonton and opening in the spring 2011.

The LPN provides care for individuals, families, and groups in a residential health care setting while providing clinical and administrative support. The LPN is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the facility.  

The successful candidate will be a problem solver, possess excellent organizational and customer service skills and enjoy working with seniors.  Current registration and recent security clearance required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing with current license to practice as an LPN in the Province of Alberta
• Current CPR and First Aid
• Two years of nursing experience in a health care facility is preferred
• Previous Designated Assisted Living (DAL) experience an asset
• Previous experience in area of Gerontology an asset
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, take initiative and delegate work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

LPN wage ranges from $22.57 - $28.07 depending on years of experience
