Designated Assisted Living (DAL) – provided for our residents that require 24 hour, on-site availability of personal care services by Care Attendants, LPN’s and other Therapists and an “on call” RN.  Some of the programs offered through our DAL suites are frail Elderly programs, Safe Living Programs, Housekeeping and food services provided.

  • Elderly spousal care givers with a history of chronic illness themselves who are experiencing related stress have a 63% higher mortality rate.
  • Family care givers are more likely than non care givers to experience symptoms of depression and anxiety for spouses, the rate is 6 times higher
  • As wife’s hospitalization increases her husband’s chances of dying within a month by 35%
  • Stress of family care giving for persons with dementia have shown to impact a persons immune system for up to three years after the care giving ends, increasing their chances of developing a chronic illness themselves.
